Overview
Share on a property listing sends a normal link to the same public page you are looking at, so a partner, family member, or your agent can open the home in a browser. You do not need to be signed in to use Share (unlike Save).
Use Share on a listing to send a public link: system share on phones, or copy link on desktop. No sign-in required.

The process
Each milestone stands on its own—follow in order, or skip ahead when you already know the basics.
On the residential (homes) property details page (`/properties/...`), the Share control appears in the sticky sub-navigation bar (above the hero gallery, alongside Search, section tabs, and Save). If your screen is narrow, the bar may scroll horizontally.
Other listing types (for example commercial or land) may show sharing in a different place on their detail pages, but the same idea usually applies: you copy or send the public listing URL.
For a tour of that bar (section jumps, Search back, Save), see [Residential properties page](/help/searching/residential-property-details) under Searching.
When you tap or click Share, Eyemoved prepares one thing: a link to the canonical listing page (the same address you would copy from the browser’s address bar, without any # fragment).
Copying to the clipboard usually needs a secure page (https://) or local development; if copy fails, you will see an error and you can copy the address manually from the browser’s address bar.
If something blocks clipboard access, check site permissions in your browser settings, or use another browser.
- **[Comparing properties](/help/saved/comparing-properties)** has a **Share link** for the **compare** set—that is a different URL (your comparison), not a single listing. - **[Sharing your collections](/help/saved/sharing-properties)** is about **lists** and invites; this article is about **one listing** from its detail page.
On many **phones and tablets**, and on some **desktop** browsers, Eyemoved uses the **Web Share** feature: your **operating system** share panel opens, and you can send the link to Messages, email, WhatsApp, or any app you choose. - If you **close** the share panel without sending (cancel), nothing is copied and no error is shown—this is normal.
If a system share sheet is not available, or the share action does not complete, the site **copies the listing URL to your clipboard** and shows a short confirmation (for example a message that the **link is copied** and you can **paste** it elsewhere). - **Paste** the link into a chat, email, or text message using your device as usual (Ctrl+V / ⌘+V, or “Paste” on mobile).
Recipients open the **same** listing you see, including the latest public price and copy on the page.
**Share** only sends a **public** URL. It is not a private data export and does not grant others access to your account or your saved notes.
