The hero gallery uses the listing’s main photograph (not placeholder concept art). On desktop (lg and up), it is a full-viewport overlay with a left gradient, title, and guide-price card on the image. On mobile and tablet (below lg), the photo carousel sits in a dedicated zone at the top (~4:3, capped at ~52vh); title, location, and the guide-price card appear below the gallery so the carousel stays visible. When there is more than one photo, previous and next chevrons appear on the hero (when not at the first or last slide). Room-category filters scroll back to this hero so you can move through filtered photos with those controls.
When the listing has a promotion signal (for example private exclusive, coming soon, featured, or premium tier), a single uppercase pill above the title shows the primary marketing label. Ordinary workflow status such as ACTIVE appears in the location row below the title, not in this pill. Listing-specific labels come from property data; tier and marketing-phase fallback wording is editable in Admin → Property details page under Editorial layout → Hero promotion pill fallback labels.
A guide price card shows price, beds, baths, and floor area when available, with Enquire and Call actions. On desktop, use the chevron on the card to slide it aside and see the full hero photo; click the remaining strip to bring price and contact back. The card stays put while you browse photos. This control is not shown on mobile or tablet, where the card already sits below the gallery.
